曲げ庇の離れ Workspace with bent eaves

＜曲線とグラデーション＞
作業場と荷解き駐車スペースと書庫と閲覧室からなる母屋の離れ。

雨天や積雪時のアクセスに配慮した庇（ひさし）を建物の東側に設けています。 庇の出寸法は、母屋からのアクセスのために1200mm、 駐車スペースでの荷解き作業に必用な最大2000mm、 雨除け外保護に必用最小限の300mm。 その軒先が15.5m連なり曲線を描いています。

外壁はグラデーションを描くようにリシン吹付けと杉板の幅を調整しながら反復させました。 母屋の色彩の調和しながらも、 広がりのある自然豊かな山並みの景色に溶け込んでいくような外観を意図しました。

A detachment of the main house, consisting of a workshop, an unpacking parking space, a library, and a reading room.

An eaves is installed on the east side of the building to facilitate access in rainy or snowy weather. The protruding dimensions of the eaves are 1200 mm for access from the main house, up to 2000 mm for unpacking in the parking space, and 300 mm for the minimum protection from the rain. The eaves are 15.5 m long and curved.

The exterior walls were sprayed with ricin and the width of the cedar boards was repeated to draw a gradation. While harmonizing the colors of the main house, we intended the exterior to blend in with the expansive and nature-rich mountain scenery.
